Rules and Guidelines for Dynamic Mapping

Rules and Guidelines for Dynamic Mapping

Consider the guidelines in this section when you create a dynamic mapping.
Consider the following guidelines for dynamic mappings:
  • You can enable the refresh schema only for Confluent Kafka AVRO schema in source data objects.
  • XML and binary data format is not supported in the target mapping flow.
  • Set the INFA_PARSER_HOME environment variable for AVRO data format in Kafka and Confluent Kafka.
  • You must mention the schema registry URL in the connection, if refresh schema is enabled in the source data object.
  • For mapping flow, schema parameterization is not certified.
  • If mapping flow is enabled, only the latest schema gets refreshed from the schema registry.
  • If mapping flow is enabled, create header ports similar to the header names such as partition Id, key, or topic name.
