Merging records

Merging records

You can configure a cleanse asset to merge two or more fields into a single new field.
  1. Select the
    Merge
     tab on the asset.
  2. On the
    Merge
     tab, click
    Add Merged Output
    .
    The
    New Merge Output
     dialog box appears.
  3. Enter a name for the new field.
  4. To select the input fields to merge, click
    Add Input
    .
  5. Optionally, to change the delimiter to apply between the merged fields, click
    Add Delimiter
    . The default delimiter is a character space.
  6. Click
    Add
    .
    The
    Merge
     tab displays the new field.
