Example 3: SFTP Put Files

Example 3: SFTP Put Files

Follow the steps below to upload a single file to an SFTP Server resource:
  1. From within the Project Designer page, expand the FTP folder in the Component Library, and then drag the SFTP task to the Project Outline.
  2. On the Basic tab of the SFTP task, specify a value for the following attribute:
    SFTP Server
    A pre-configured SFTP server from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the
    Add
    button in the sub-menu and select the
    Put Files
    menu item.
  4. On the Basic tab of the Put Files element, specify values for the following attributes:
    Source File
    The file path and file name of a single file to upload.
    Destination File
    The destination file path on the SFTP server when uploading a single file.
  5. Click the
    Save
    button when finished.
If you want to SFTP multiple files, then leave the
Source File
blank and click the
Add
button in the sub-menu and select the
Add a File Set
menu item. Then follow the instructions in the File Set topic.
