Forms Designer User Interface

Forms Designer User Interface

The
Designer
tab displays the elements to customize. You can use the
Actions
menu to add groups, such as tabs, columns, headers, or disclosures. You can also drag and drop elements to group and nest the fields in up to four levels.
The
Designer
tab displays information about the elements, such as label and type. The information appears in read-only mode.
The following table describes the element properties that you can view on the
Designer
tab:
Column
Description
ID
Unique identifier of the element. For example, the name of the workflow parameter as defined in PowerCenter.
Label
Label of the element as it appears on the form. The label can be different from the ID of the element.
Type
Type of the element, such as text or date.
Representation
Representation of the element in the form. For example, the element can be an entry field, a radio button, or a drop-down list.
Mandatory
Indicates whether the element is mandatory.
Read-Only
Indicates whether the element is read-only.
Depends On
Name of the element or group on which the parameter depends.
