Monitoring Rule Select Status Properties

Monitoring Rule Select Status Properties

When you create a monitoring rule, select the event statuses that you want to monitor in the
Select Status
page of the
Create Monitoring Rule
wizard.
The following image shows a sample
Select Status
page:
The
Select Status
page includes the following properties:
Event State
Select an
Event State
and the corresponding event statuses are displayed. The following event states are available:
  • Final
    . The event in the final state of the event life cycle.
  • Non-final
    . The event is in an intermediate state of the event life cycle.
This option is not applicable if you select the
Monitoring Type
as
Connection
.
Event Statuses
Event statuses to which you can apply the rule. You can apply monitoring rules to statuses in both
Final
and
Non-final
event states.
Selected Statuses
Event statuses to which the rule applies.
Perform the selected actions if the event remains in the selected status for more than the below duration:
Applies only to the
Non-final
event state. Specify the duration for the selected non-final events to monitor the selected event status or statuses. The maximum duration is 7 days, 23 hours, and 55 minutes. Default is 5 minutes.
Operation Type
The operation types to which you can apply the rule. The following operation types are available:
  • Update
    . If the selected publication, subscription, or connection is updated, then the associated monitoring rule is triggered.
  • Delete
    . If the selected publication, subscription, or connection is removed from the Data Integration Hub system, then the associated monitoring rule is triggered.
The
Operation Type
option is not applicable if you select the
Monitoring Type
as
System
.
