Metadata Manager extracts the value of the MS_Description extended property for Microsoft SQL Server table and view columns. Metadata Manager displays the property value in the

Description

property when you view the column details.

Metadata Manager does not extract extended properties for other Microsoft SQL Server objects. Metadata Manager does not extract extended properties other than MS_Description.
