Configure Data Validation Option

Configure Data Validation Option

To complete the configuration of Data Validation Option, perform the following tasks:
  • Configure the PowerCenter Integration Service. Copy the dvoct.jar file to the PowerCenter Integration Service machine and configure the location of the file in the Administrator tool.
  • Configure PowerCenter Client properties. Perform the following tasks in the PowerCenter Client:
    • Create a target folder in the Repository Manager to store data validation metadata.
    • Create a connection in the Workflow Manager to the Data Validation Option repository.
  • Configure Data Validation Client preferences. Configure the following global settings in the Data Validation Client:
    • Create the Data Validation repository.
    • Configure mapping properties.
    • Enable authentication.
  • Add the PowerCenter repository to the Data Validation Client.
  • Configure environment variables.
