Install DVOCmd on UNIX

Install DVOCmd on UNIX

You can also DVOCmd separately on a UNIX or Linux machine. You must install DVOCmd on a node within the Informatica domain.
Perform the following tasks to install DVOCmd on a UNIX or Linux machine:
  • Complete pre-installation tasks. Perform the following pre-installation tasks:
    • Uninstall any previous version of DVOCmd.
    • If you connect to more than one domain from the PowerCenter Client, copy the domains.infa file to the UNIX machine.
  • Extract the DVOCmd files and convert the files to a UNIX format.
  • Prepare other DVOCmd file:
    • Copy other files to the DVOCmd installation directory.
    • Create a directory for the configuration file, and copy DVOConfig.properties to that directory.
  • Configure environment variables.
  • If you are running Data Validation Option in a Kerberos environment, configure Kerberos.
