Use Case for Delta Initialization without Transfer

In certain business scenarios, you might want to read only the changed business content data from SAP Business Suite applications. You might want to skip the first step of performing an initial transfer of the entire data and reading the entire data by using the BCI listener workflow. In such cases, you can configure for delta initialization without transfer.

For example, you have a DataSource named Customers that contains 5 million records. You want to read the initial set of records by using another product such as Informatica Data Replication and then write the records to a Teradata data warehouse. You then want to use the BCI functionality of PowerExchange for SAP NetWeaver to read only the new customer records that get added. In this case, you can configure for delta initialization without transfer.
