CREATE_ECSA Command

CREATE_ECSA Command

Creates ECSA memory.
//STEP1 EXEC PGM=PWXUDMX, // PARM='CMD=CREATE_ECSA [LENGTH=
length
]'
To allocate less than the 4096 bytes of ECSA memory that the system dynamically allocates, issue this command with the optional LENGTH parameter. For the
length
variable, specify the amount of storage to allocate for ECSA memory. The PWXUDMX utility allocates the specified amount of ECSA memory and creates a named token called PWX_DMXTIME_1, which defines the address of the ECSA memory.
Maximum value is 4096 bytes.
