UPDATE_USER_ACTIVITY Statement

Controls whether the LAST-ACCESS date in RACF is updated when a user connects to a PowerExchange Listener on z/OS. For the LAST-ACCESS dates to be updated, you must configure the SECURITY=(2,x) and UPDATE_USER_ACTIVITY=Y statements in the DBMOVER configuration file.

UPDATE_USER_ACTIVITY={Y|N}

Valid values are:

Y
. Update the LAST-ACCESS date in the RACF database when a connection is made to a PowerExchange Listener on z/OS. You can view the LAST-ACCESS date in RACF LISTUSER output. For more information, see Preventing a PowerExchange User ID From Being Reported as Inactive.

N
. Do not update the LAST-ACCESS date in RACF for PowerExchange Listener connections.

Default is N.
