If the TCP/IP resolver cannot find the host name, PowerExchange uses this address to validate the license. On z/OS or OS/390 systems, the gethostid() details are specified in the TCP/IP stack in the PRIMARYINTERFACEADDRESS parameter of the PROFILE data set. |
