Running the PWXUCREG Utility

Running the PWXUCREG Utility

When you run PWXUCREG on Linux, UNIX, or Windows, enter PWXUCREG parameters in a file and then specify the file name in position 1 of the pwxucreg command.
For example, on Windows:
i:\pwxucreg.exe c:\
MyPwxucregCommands
\Command1.ini > c:\MyPwxucregCommands\outputs\Command1.txt
You can pipe the stdout output to a file so that the audit trail is preserved.
When you run PWXUCREG on z/OS, enter the PWXUCREG parameters in the PWXSYSIN DD statement. After you define the JCL for the PWXUCREG job, you can manually submit the job or schedule it to run in an automated manner as part of a batch job.
The following JCL includes the basic statements:
//PWXURACT JOB 'PWXUCREG',MSGLEVEL=(1,1),MSGCLASS=X,NOTIFY=&SYSUID, // CLASS=A //LIBSRCH JCLLIB ORDER=DTLUSR.V1052.RUNLIB // SET HLQ=DTLUSR.V1052 // SET RUNLIB=DTLUSR.V1052.RUNLIB
//STEP1 EXEC PGM=PWXUCREG,REGION=120M
//STEPLIB DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&HLQ..LOADLIB //* //DTLAMCPR DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&HLQ..CCT //DTLMSG DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&HLQ..DTLMSG //DTLCFG DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&RUNLIB(DBMOVER) //DTLKEY DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&RUNLIB(LICENSE) //DTLSGN DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&RUNLIB(SIGNON) //DTLLOG DD SYSOUT=* //SYSUDUMP DD SYSOUT=* //SYSOUT DD SYSOUT=* //SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//PWXSYSIN DD *
