PWXUCREG Utility Overview

Use the PWXUCREG utility to delete capture registrations, report capture registrations, or temporarily suspend registrations for certain z/OS database types from change capture.

You can use the utility to perform the following tasks:

Delete inactive registrations that have the status of History, Inactive, or Non-Live status

Display the current status of each capture registration, according to the filters you supply, to verify a status change

Informatica recommends using the PWXUCRGP utility to report registrations. PWXUCREG does not provide detailed reports.

Temporarily suspend ECCR change data capture from Adabas, Datacom, IDMS, or IMS log-based sources. Later, you can use the utility to reactivate the suspended registrations to resume change data capture.

When you delete or suspend capture registrations, the registration information in the CCT file is updated.

To display help information about PWXUCREG commands and parameters, enter a question mark (?) at the command line. For example:
