Job in JCL member <
qualified_member_name
> cannot use a password longer than eight characters.
The job in the specified JCL member for reading source or target metadata was submitted from a PowerCenter or PowerExchange client. However, the job did not start because it uses a password that is too long. Passwords for JCL jobs can be no longer than eight characters. Passphrases, which can be longer, are not supported for JCL jobs.
The PowerExchange Listener acquires the socket again but takes no further action on behalf of the job.
Check the security credentials for the JCL job. Ensure that the password is eight characters or less.
