Creating Storage Classifications

Creating Storage Classifications

To create a storage classification, select a source connection. Then give the storage classification a name and designate one or more mount points.
  1. Administration
    Manage Storage Classification
    .
    The
    Storage Classifications
    window appears.
  2. Select the source connection on which you want to create the storage classification.
  3. Click
    Actions
    New
    .
    The
    New Storage Classification
    window appears.
  4. Enter a name for the storage classification.
  5. Optionally, select the check box to make the storage classification the default classification.
  6. Optionally, select the check box to enable Oracle Hybrid Columnar Compression for the storage classification.
  7. Click
    Next
    .
    The
    Mount Points
    window appears.
  8. Click the
    Add
    icon.
    The
    Add Mount Point
    window appears.
  9. Enter the path of the mount point.
  10. Enter the available space that exists at the mount point.
  11. Click
    Add
    .
