Step 5. Define and Run the Retirement Project

Define and run the retirement archive project. Running the project copies the nonrelational source data to a target database or the Data Vault.

To define a retirement archive project, specify the source and target connections. Then define the retirement project details.

When you define the source connection, enter the following information:

POWER_EXCHANGE

Enter the

Data Source Name

as defined in the odbc.ini.file.

For the

Admin

Application

Staging

JDBC Fetch Size

, enter 0.

Clear the

Use Staging

check box.

Define the target connection, if you have not already defined it.

Create and define the retirement project from the

Workbench > Manage Retirement Projects

menu.

Run the retirement project.
