Visual C++

On Windows, the Data Vault components require Visual C++.

Install the following Visual C++ package according to your Windows installation:

64-bit: On 64-bit Microsoft Windows installations, install the following Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013:
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (64-bit).
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (32-bit).
32-bit: On 32-bit Microsoft Windows installations, install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (32-bit).

Verify that you have the correct package and service pack. Data Vault does not work with other versions of Visual C++.
