Informatica Data Archive Profiling Installation

If you want to use tools such as Informatica Data Quality or Data Explorer to discover table relationships in the Enterprise Data Manager, you must install Informatica Data Archive Profiling. The options to discover keys and relationships, view suggested table relationships, and view suggested unique columns have been removed from Data Archive installation and must be installed separately.

Run the Informatica Data Archive Profiling installer that corresponds to your version of Informatica PowerCenter. If you upgrade to a new version of PowerCenter, you must also upgrade the Data Archive Profiling component to correspond with your upgraded version of PowerCenter. The Data Archive Profiling installers are shipped with Data Archive.

In the Informatica Data Archive Profiling installer folder, double-click

Informatica_Data_Archive_Profiling.exe

The installer launches and the

Welcome

screen appears.

Click

The

Data Archive Installation Folder

screen appears.

Select the location of the Data Archive installation and click

The

Pre-installation Summary

screen appears.

Review the pre-installation summary and click

The Data Archive Profiling installation begins. When installation is complete, the

Installation Complete

screen appears.

Click

Done

to exit the installer.
