Run the installer in graphical mode

Run the installer in graphical mode

When you migrate from Informatica versions 10.4.x or 10.5.x, you can change the node configuration to migrate the domain to a different machine or to a different domain configuration repository database.
  1. Log in to the machine with a system user account.
  2. Close all the other applications.
  3. Go to the root of the directory for the installation files and run
    install.bat
    as administrator.
    To run the file as administrator, right-click the
    install.bat
    file and select
    Run as administrator
    .
    If you do not run the installer as administrator, the Windows system administrator might encounter issues when accessing files in the
    CDI-PC
    installation directory.
    The
    CDI-PC
    page appears.
  4. Select
    Migrate to CDI-PC
    .
  5. Click
    Start
    .
    The
    Welcome
    page appears.
  6. Read the copyright information and click
    Next
    to continue.
    The
    Migration Prerequisites
    page displays the installation requirements. Verify that all requirements are met before you continue the installation.
  7. Click
    Next
    .
    The
    Informatica Services Installation Directory
    page appears.
