Data preview

To view the output of the hierarchical mapper and test the statements, you can preview the hierarchical mapper.
The input file that you can use depends on the source schema. If the source schema comes from a hierarchical schema or a data service, the input file must be an XML or JSON file. If the source schema comes from an
intelligent structure model
, you can also use CSV and PDF files as input files.
The following image shows the
Preview
page of a hierarchical mapper:
Preview page of a hierarchical mapper. The input is an XML file and data
preview runs on the Cloud Server. The page displays the content of the XML file
next to the output of the hierarchical mapper.
When you preview a hierarchical mapper that uses an
intelligent structure model
for the source schema, the input file must be the same file type as the sample file used to create the
intelligent structure model
. For example, if you create an
intelligent structure model
using a CSV file as the sample file, you need to use a CSV file as the input file to preview the hierarchical mapper.
