Configuring the Chart Parameters

Configuring the Chart Parameters

After you map the chart name with the data mart class name, map the chart name with the report configuration ID defined in the C_REPOS_RPT_CONFIG repository table.
  1. Open a command prompt, and go to the following directory:
    • For the Party table-based data model.
      <MDM installation directory>/app/tcr/reporting/datamart
    • For the Party Role table-based data model.
      <MDM installation directory>/app/tcr/reporting/datamart/pre_c360_10.2_hf2
  2. Run the following command:
    java -jar populate_datamart.jar config
  3. Type
    P
    , and press
    Enter
    .
  4. Enter appropriate values for the chart.
    The following table lists the parameters to configure for the chart:
    Prompt
    Description
    Report Name
    Name of the chart as specified in the following file:
    /app/tcr/reporting/datamart/config/report-class-mapping.properties
    Report Configuration ID
    Unique chart identifier as specified in the C_REPOS_RPT_CONFIG repository table.
    Mart Connection Name
    Connection name for the data mart to connect with the Operational Reference Store (ORS). Use the connection name defined for the ORS that contains the customer data.
    Query Connection Name
    Connection name for the database to be queried.
    • For reports that include the word Tasks, specify the connection name defined for the ActiveVOS database.
    • For all other reports, specify the connection name defined for the ORS that contains the customer data.
  5. When prompted to finish the configuration, enter
    Y
    .
    The parameters are saved in the following file:
    <MDM installation directory>/app/tcr/reporting/datamart/config/mart-population-config.xml
    .
