Configuring Microsoft SQL Server

After you install the components of
Identity Resolution
, you must configure Microsoft SQL Server so that
Identity Resolution
can communicate with it.
Informatica recommends that you must be an experienced DBA with appropriate authority to configure Microsoft SQL Server.
To configure Microsoft SQL Server for
Identity Resolution
, perform the following tasks:
  1. Create a user and grant the required permissions.
  2. Define an ODBC data source on the Search Server.
  3. Create tables and database objects by running the database scripts.
  4. Optionally, create Microsoft SQL API components.
