Generate Primary Keys Example

You are a mappings developer at a large retail chain. A business analyst creates a mapping specification to define a mapping that can generate primary keys by using data in the source table. You need to generate the primary keys to maintain the uniqueness of data that loads from the source to the target staging table.

The MDM Hub sample Operational Reference Store (ORS) contains a sample mapping that generates primary keys. You design a mapping in the Developer tool to create and load primary keys into the target staging table.
