Configuring a Proxy User for IBM DB2

Configuring a Proxy User for IBM DB2

If the Operational Reference Store user name is different from the Operational Reference Store schema name, you must configure a proxy user. Also, if any
Operational Reference Store
was previously registered to a proxy user, you must configure a proxy user. The proxy user can retrieve metadata, change user data, and run batch jobs. The proxy user cannot make changes to metadata.
To configure the
Operational Reference Store
user as a proxy user, assign the proxy role to the user. The proxy role is predefined in the
MDM Hub
and has the
Read
and
Execute

The proxy user must have only the proxy role. You cannot change the privileges for the proxy role.
