Generating the Readiness Report

Generating the Readiness Report

To generate the readiness report, run the
readiness_start.sql
script.
  1. Navigate to the following directory:
    • On UNIX. <
      MDM Hub distribution directory
      >/database/resources/database/migration_readiness/oracle
    • On Windows. <
      MDM Hub distribution directory
      >\database\resources\database\migration_readiness\oracle
  2. Connect to the Operational Reference Store (ORS) schema for which you want to generate a readiness report.
  3. In SQL*Plus, run the
    readiness_start.sql
    script.
  4. Select the appropriate option to generate the readiness report:
    1. To create a readiness report, enter
      y
      for the first option,
      Check data and generate report (y/n)
      .
      If you are running
      readiness_start.sql
      for the first time, you must select
      y
      for option 1. The time required to perform the data check depends on the size of the schema and the number of parent records and child records.
    2. Enter
      n
      for the second option,
      Fix data issues identified by data check and generate report (y/n)
      .
    3. Enter
      n
      for the third option,
      Regenerate report from previous data check (y/n)
      .
  5. Open the readiness report in a program that can open CSV files, such as Excel, to review the data issues identified for the schema.
