Deprecated Support for Adobe Flash Player

Effective in version 10.4 HotFix 1, Informatica Data Director with subject areas does not require Adobe Flash Player. Support for Adobe Flash Player is deprecated.

As a result, you must generate a business entity schema before you can use the Data Director with subject areas user interface. Generating a business schema supports subject areas History and Timeline views, which previously used Adobe Flash Player.

Adobe announced that it would end support for Flash Player at the end of 2020.
