During the Build Match Group (BMG) process, a match that is made
indirectly
due to the behavior of other matches. For example, if record 1 matches to record 2, record 2 matches to record 3, and record 3 matches to record 4, after the BMG process removes redundant matches, it might produce results in which records 2, 3, and 4 match to record 1. In this example, there was no explicit rule that matched record 4 to record 1. Instead, the match was made indirectly.
