Step 5. Create a JMS Queue for Search

The search feature requires a JMS queue to enable full-text search within
Data Director
.
  1. Navigate to
    SiperianModule
    .
    The
    Configuration
    page appears.
  2. In the
    Summary of Resources
    section, click
    New
    .
  3. Select a resource, and click
    Next
    .
    • Queue
      . Select for non-cluster environments.
    • Distributed Queue
      . Select for cluster environments.
  4. Specify the following options, and click
    Next
    :
    Option
    Description
    Name
    informatica.mdm.sss.jms.queue
    JNDI Name
    informatica.mdm.sss.jms.queue
  5. Choose the JMS Server that you created in Step 1, and click
    Finish
    .
  6. Click
    Activate Changes
    .
  7. Click the
    Targets
    tab.
  8. In the
    Servers
    section, select the servers for this module.
    For a clustered environment, you can choose which server handles the queues.
