Registering Oracle Configuration Manager (Optional)

Registering Oracle Configuration Manager (Optional)

Oracle Configuration Manager (OCM) collects data for all transactions between the applications and databases installed in your MDM environment. You must register OCM through the Hub Console with a single MDM Hub Master Database.
  1. Start the Hub Console.
    The
    Change database
    dialog box appears.
  2. Select
    MDM Hub Master Database
    , and click
    Connect
    .
  3. Under the
    Configuration
    workbench, click the
    Databases
    tool.
  4. From the
    Write Lock
    menu, click
    Acquire Lock
    .
  5. In the Databases pane, click the
    Register database
    button.
    The
    Informatica MDM Hub Connection Wizard
    appears.
  6. Select the
    Service
    Oracle connection method, and click
    Next
    .
    The
    Connection Properties
    page appears.
  7. In the
    Connection URL
    field, enter the following OCM server connection URL:
    jdbc:oracle:thin:@(description=(address_list=(address=(protocol=tcps)(port=2484)(host=invlrcon19.informatica.com))(address=(protocol=tcp)(port=1521)(host=invlrcon21.informatica.com)))(connect_data=(SERVICE_NAME=ORCL19C.informatica.com)))
  8. Click
    Finish
    The
    Registering Database
    dialog box appears.
  9. Click
    OK
    The MDM Hub registers Oracle Configuration Manager.
