Apply the Service Pack on Windows

When you apply the service pack, the installer backs up existing directories, applies the new version of the product, and restores or updates required configuration and run-time files. Ensure you have administrative access to the installation servers.

Install Server and Cleanse Packages

Complete the following steps to install the Informatica 10.5 HotFix 4 Service Pack 1 Server and Cleanse installer packages for Windows:
  1. Shut down the domain and all nodes.
  2. Download the SP1_Installer_jboss_server_win-64.zip and SP1_Installer_jboss_cleanse_win-64.zip installer packages for Windows to your local system.
  3. Extract the EBF installer for Server and Cleanse packages.
  4. Navigate to the directory of the extracted Server package:
    SP1_Installer_jboss_server_win-x64
  5. Edit the
    Input.properties
    file in the Server package directory:
    DEST_DIR
    Set DEST_DIR to the installation directory. For example, DEST_DIR=
    C:\\infamdm\\hub\\server
    ROLLBACK
    ROLLBACK determines the installation mode. Set ROLLBACK=0 for patch installation. Default is 0.
  6. To install the Server package, run the following installation script:
    installSP.bat
  7. Navigate to the extracted Cleanse package directory:
    SP1_Installer_jboss_cleanse_win-x64
  8. Edit the
    Input.properties
    file in the Cleanse package. Set DEST_DIR=
    C:\\infamdm\\hub\\Cleanse
    and ROLLBACK=0 for patch installation.
  9. To install the Cleanse package, run the following installation script:
    installSP.bat
  10. You can find
    debug.log
    log file in the installation directories of both the Server and Cleanse packages to monitor installation status and errors.
  11. Verify the version information is updated to 10.5 HF4 SP1 in the following files:
    • infamdm\hub\server\conf\VersionInfo.xml
    • infamdm\hub\cleanse\conf\VersionInfo.xml
  12. Verify the updated EAR files are present in the following locations:
    • infamdm\hub\server
    • infamdm\hub\cleanse
  13. Verify the updated JAR files are located in the following directories:
    • infamdm\hub\server\lib
    • infamdm\hub\cleanse\lib
  14. Navigate to the JBoss standalone directory:
    jBoss\EAP-8\standalone
  15. Delete tmp and data folders.
