Roll Back the Service Pack in Windows

Complete the following steps to roll back the Informatica 10.5 HotFix 4 Service Pack 1 Server and Cleanse Installer packages for Windows:
  1. Shut down the domain and all nodes.
  2. Ensure DEST_DIR path remains the same as during installation.
  3. Navigate to the following extracted Server package directory:
    SP1_installer_jboss_server_win-x64
  4. Edit the
    Input.properties
    file in the Server package directory:
    ROLLBACK
    ROLLBACK determines the installation mode. Set ROLLBACK=1 for rollback operation.
  5. To roll back the Server package, run the following installation script:
    installSP.bat
  6. Navigate to the following extracted Cleanse package directory:
    SP1_installer_jboss_cleanse_win-x64
  7. Edit the
    Input.properties
    file in the Cleanse package and set ROLLBACK=1 for rollback operation.
  8. To roll back the Cleanse package, run the following installation script:
    installSP.bat
After you roll back the service pack, complete the following post-installation tasks:
  1. Navigate to the Server package:
    infamdm\hub\server
  2. Open a command prompt.
  3. Run the following post-installation script:
    patchInstallSetup.bat
  4. Provide your credentials when prompted.
  5. Navigate to the Cleanse package:
    infamdm\hub\Cleanse
  6. Open a command prompt.
  7. Run the following post-installation script:
    patchInstallSetup.bat
  8. You can find the
    patchInstallSetup.log
    log file generated in the following locations:
    • infamdm\hub\server\logs
    • infamdm\hub\cleanse\logs
  9. Verify the updated EARs deployed to the following location:
    jBoss\EAP-8\standalone\deployments
  10. Restart the server.
