Oracle WebLogic and IBM WebSphere Deferment

Effective in version 10.5 HotFix 4, support for IBM WebSphere Traditional and Oracle WebLogic is deferred and unavailable.

IBM WebSphere: IBM WebSphere Traditional is not provided in the current release, as it remains incompatible with Java 17 and Jakarta EE 10. Support for WebSphere is deferred to an upcoming release until IBM releases a Java 17 and Jakarta EE 10 compatible version. Upon availability of such a version, Informatica intends to extend support for IBM WebSphere in the subsequent MDM releases.
Oracle WebLogic: Oracle WebLogic is postponed because a version that supports both Java 17 and Jakarta EE 10 is not yet available. Support remains deferred until Oracle releases a corresponding compatible version. Informatica will provide support in future MDM releases upon its availability.
User Advisory: If you are using Oracle WebLogic or IBM WebSphere, upgrade to MDM 10.4 HotFix 4 won't be feasible post-release.
You can opt to continue with the current version of MDM, or consider upgrading to MDM 10.5 HotFix 3, which supports Java 8 and remains compatible with Oracle WebLogic and IBM WebSphere.
Projected Developments: Informatica is committed to offering support for Oracle WebLogic and IBM WebSphere in future MDM releases upon the release of Java 17 and Jakarta EE 10 compatible versions.
You will be able to upgrade to the subsequently supported MDM versions as soon as they become available.
