Starting and stopping the Secure Agent on Linux

After you download the Secure Agent program files on a Linux machine, you can run the Secure Agent as a Linux process. Manually start the Secure Agent process on Linux.

From the command line, navigate to the following directory:

<Secure Agent installation directory>/apps/agentcore

To start the Secure Agent, enter the following command:

./infaagent.sh startup

To stop the Secure Agent, enter the following command:

./infaagent.sh shutdown

You can view the Secure Agent status from

Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services

or from a Linux command line.

Effective in the October 2022 release, the

infaagent startup

and

infaagent shutdown

commands are deprecated. Informatica intends to drop support for these commands in a future release.

Deprecated functionality is supported, but Informatica intends to drop support in a future release. Informatica requests that you transition to different functionality before the functionality is dropped.
