to choose between processing speed and quality of verified output. You can set
OptimizationLevel
to one of the following values:
NARROW
Informatica Address Verification honors input assignment strictly, with the exception of separation of House Number from Street information.
STANDARD
Address Verification makes the following element separations.
Province from Locality information
Postal Code from Locality information
House Number from Street information
SubBuilding from Street information
DeliveryService from Street information
SubBuilding from Building information
Locality from PostalCode information
WIDE
Address Verification does element separation in the same way it does element separation when you set
OptimizationLevel
to STANDARD. Additionally, Address Verification verifies six parsing candidates to increase the scope of verification and takes additional reference data entries into account for matching.
Consider the following factors when you set the optimization level:
If you set the optimization level to WIDE, Address Verification might return addresses with extensive corrections. Extensive corrections to an address might adversely affect the result quality.
If you set the optimization level to NARROW, Address Verification requires the minimum processing resources. If you set the optimization level to WIDE, Address Verification requires the maximum processing resources.
The
OptimizationLevel
setting does not have any impact if the required reference data is not available for the country to which the input address belongs.
