A rule specification asset in advanced mode provides a rule editor in which you can write rule logic in simple expressions or in IF-THEN-ELSE syntax.
You can nest an IF-THEN-ELSE statement within another statement. You can specify other rule specification assets, dictionaries, mapplets, and complex expressions in the logic. You receive suggestions as you type in the editor, such as input or output field names, functions, and mapplets.
You can define the same business rule logic in basic mode and advanced mode.
