Testing a rule specification in advanced mode

Test a rule specification asset to verify that the data flows through the asset in the ways that you expect.

Open the rule specification that you created in advanced mode.

Select the

Configuration

tab.

Select a Secure Agent to run the test.

To refresh the list of active Secure Agents, click the

Refresh

icon.

Enter one or more data values in the test panel.

Click

Test

The test runs the rule logic in the asset. The output columns display the test results.

If you configure exception indicators in the expression logic, the test results include columns for the exception data options that you specified.

Verify that the rule logic reads the input values and writes the output values that you expect.
