Register the OEM Managed File Transfer License

Register the OEM Managed File Transfer License

If you upgraded
B2B Data Exchange
and installed the OEM Managed File Transfer component, register the license before you launch Managed File Transfer.
Before you complete this task, verify that you have the following prerequisites:
  • The license details you received from Informatica shipping.
  • Internet access to the Cleo Licensing server at https://license.cleo.com:443.
After installing OEM Managed File Transfer, you must register your license for this component.
  1. Log in to the
    B2B Data Exchange
    Operation Console with an administrator user account.
  2. In the Navigator, click
    Administration
    MFT Console
    .
    The
    Informatica B2B Managed File Transfer
    console opens in another web page. If you are registering the license for the first time after you install, the
    Informatica B2B Managed File Transfer Product Registration
    window appears. If the license is registered, click
    Tools
    Register
    to access the
    Informatica B2B Managed File Transfer Product Registration
    window.
  3. Enter the license details you received from Informatica shipping in the
    Serial Number
    field and click
    Check Registration
    .
    The Informatica B2B Managed File Transfer window appears.
  4. Enter the required information and click
    Register
    .
    A message informs you that the registration is successful.
  5. Click
    OK
    to close the
    Informatica B2B Managed File Transfer Product Registration
    window.
  6. Based on whether the license is registered or not, perform one of the following actions:
    1. If the license is not registered,
      B2B Data Exchange
      opens the Managed File Transfer login window.
      Go to step 7.
    2. If the license is registered, go to step 9.
  7. Select
    Edit
    mode and enter
    dxadmin
    in the Password field.
  8. Click
    OK
    to close the license registration window.
  9. In the Navigator, click
    Administration
    MFT Console
    and verify the registration by logging in to the
    Informatica B2B Managed File Transfer
    window.
  10. Click
    Tools
    License
    Request Permanent License
    to convert the temporary license you installed to a permanent license.
