PRP - Positions for Retirement Plans

Effective in the September 2022 update, PRP – Positions for Retirement Plans includes changes to the PRP records:

: The following table describes the new fields added to the PRP 93/03 Plan Fund Assets Record:

Third Party Platform Identifier

Optional. The Third Party Platform Identifier information should be used for Asset Class Identification.

The Third Party Platform Identifier field includes the following details:
Field Location: 204 - 233 (30 bytes)
Type: Alphanumeric

Item # 8114

Third Party Platform Source

Conditional. If item #8114 is populated, then item #8115 must be present and with valid code. The usage of the identifier source determines which Third Party Platform Identifier is being referenced.

The Third Party Platform Source field includes the following details:
Field Location: 234 - 235 (2 bytes)
Type: Alphanumeric

If present, must be valid code list value:
01 - Morningstar
