Teradata General Connection Properties

A Teradata connection includes the following general properties:

Connection Name: Name of the connection. The name can contain a maximum of 64 characters. The name cannot contain spaces or other special characters except for the underscore.
Description: Optional description of the connection.
User: Name of the database user account. The database user must have read and write permissions to the database.
Password: Password for the database user account. The password must use 7-bit ASCII encoding.
