Repository Objects to Export and Import

Repository Objects to Export and Import

You can export or import all objects or specify the export/import object types. When you export or import objects with dependent objects, the import and export utility exports the metadata for the dependent objects. When you create the export or the import specification file, you specify the object type to export or import.
The utility does not export or import event attachments
or published data sets. After you import publications or subscriptions,
Data Integration Hub
creates all associated entities, such as connections and automatic mappings. Imported topics, publications, and subscriptions become valid after the associated entities are created. For connections, the metadata status becomes NOT_TESTED after the import. Connections data access status becomes NOT_TESTES if the PowerCenter connection entity is created successfully and INVALID if creating the PowerCenter connection entity fails.
