CAPX Advanced Parameters Dialog Box - AS400 Tab

On the
AS400
tab of the
CAPX Advanced Parameters
dialog box, define an optional override parameter for the database row test of batch access to DB2 for i5/OS source data.
AS400 Instance
Overrides the instance name, or collection ID, of the extraction map that you are testing. Use this override field in the following situation:
  • You have identical tables that use different AS400 objects, such as different journals or schemas.
  • PowerExchange Condense used an alternative DBID setting (an instance name) for each of these tables when writing change data to condense files.
  • For the database row test, you want to override the instance name from the extraction map to test another table in the set of identical tables for which PowerExchange Condense processed changes.
Click
OK
to save changes. The source database connection closes. In the
Database Row Test
dialog box, click
Go
to establish the database connection again and perform the database row test with the updated advanced properties.
