Step 5. Validate the Connection to Centera

Verify the connection to Centera from the Data Vault Service and from the Data Vault Service plug-in in Data Archive.
To validate the connection to the Centera Data Vault store, run the following Data Vault Service administration command:
ssadrv –a snia-xam://<DataVaultFolder>/
For example, if the folder name in the Centera Data Vault store is CenteraLoc, run the following command:
ssadrv –a snia-xam://CenteraLoc/
In this command,
snia-xam://CenteraLoc/
is the URL for the connection to the Centera Data Vault store and CenteraLoc is the name of Data Vault folder. CenteraLoc is also the name of the XAM connection in the SSA.ini file.
