Step 1. Configure Profile and Discovery Parameters

Step 1. Configure Profile and Discovery Parameters

Configure the profiling and discovery parameters in Data Archive to connect to the Model Repository Service and the profiling warehouse.
  1. In Data Archive, select
    Administration
    System Profile
    .
    The
    Configuration Settings
    page appears.
  2. Select the
    Profiling and Discovery
    tab.
  3. Configure the following profiling and discovery parameters:
    Domain Name
    Name of the Informatica domain.
    Host
    Name of the machine that hosts the master gateway node.
    Port
    Port on which the Data Integration Service accepts requests.
    User Name
    Name of the user that has access to the Model Repository Service.
    Password
    Password for the user that has access to the Model Repository Service.
    Authentication Type
    Informatica domain authentication method.
    Model Repository Service
    Name of the Model Repository Service.
    Data Integration Service
    Name of the Data Integration Service.
    Node Name
    The Informatica domain node on which the Data Integration Service runs.
  4. Click
    Save
    .
    The following image shows the
    Profiling and Discovery
    parameters:
    The Profiling and Discovery parameters are Domain Name, Host, Port, User Name, Password, Authentication Type, Model Repository Service, Data Integration Service, and Node Name.
