Enabling Dynamic Data Masking

Enabling Dynamic Data Masking

To implement Dynamic Data Masking for Data Vault, perform the following tasks:
  1. Install the Dynamic Data Masking Server and Management Console.

  2. In the Dynamic Data Masking Management Console, configure Dynamic Data Masking for the Data Vault.
    1. Add the Data Vault service in the Management Console.
    2. Define the listener port for the Data Vault service.
    3. Define the Data Vault connection in the Management Console.
    4. Create a security rule set and define security rules.
    5. Create connection rules.

  3. Enable Dynamic Data Masking in Data Archive.
  4. Define the Data Vault host and port parameters in Data Archive.
  5. Create Data Archive access roles.
  6. Assign access roles to users.
