Define the CURRENT_SCHEMA Symbol

If you want to query a table with the

set current_schema

command and without a table prefix, you must create a security rule to define the CURRENT_SCHEMA symbol.

Create a security rule with the following properties to set the current schema:

Matcher: Select the Text matcher. In the Text matcher, select the Regular Expression Identification Method.; Enter the following regular expression in the Text field:
\s*ALTER\s+SESSION\s+SET\s+CURRENT_SCHEMA\s*=\s*(.*)
Rule Action: Select the Define Symbol action. Define the following rule action parameters:; Symbol Name: CURRENT_SCHEMA
Symbol Value: \(1)
Keep Per Session: Yes

For alternative syntaxes of SET SCHEMA, you can change the regular expression in the Text matcher based on the SQL syntax option that you use for the SET SCHEMA command.
