Configure JDBC Logging

To enable logging for an application or process that uses the DDM for JDBC service, you must save the configuration file and create a VM argument.

Copy the template.jdbcLogConfig.properties file. You can find the file in the following location:

<Dynamic Data Masking installation>\Wrappers\jdbc\template.jdbcLogConfig.properties

Save the file to a directory that is accessible to the JVM.

Rename the file that you saved in the previous step to the following name:

JdbcLogConfig.properties

Create a VM argument and set the value of the argument to the file path and file name of the JdbcLogConfig.properties file you saved in the previous step.

Create the following VM argument:

o	-DDM_GENJDBC_LOG= <config file name and location>

For example, you might create the a VM argument with the following value:

-DDDM_GENJDBC_LOG =C:\DDM_GenJDBC\ JdbcLogConfig.properties
