Create an SNMP appender to send log information by using SNMP protocol.
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a standard protocol for managing devices on IP networks. Devices that typically support SNMP are routers, switches, servers, workstations, printers, and modem racks.
Before you use the SNMP appender, you must put the SNMPTrapAppender and OpenNMS jar files into the
<Dynamic Data Masking installation>/lib/ext
directory. On Windows, you must remove and restart the Dynamic Data Masking Server to update the Server configuration in the Windows Registry. On Unix, you must restart the Dynamic Data Masking Server.
