Encrypting the Password for the Command Line Interface

Encrypting the Password for the Command Line Interface

You can encrypt the password used by the the command line interface to access the TDM repository. The password for the command line interface is stored in the
userConfig.ilm
file.
  1. Open the following file in a text editor:
    <TDM Installation Directory>\utilities\ilmcli\conf\userConfig.ilm
  2. Set the password to the encrypted value from the command line interface.
    For example, you might enter the following value for the password:
    password=uWlm059lmcj6QyLVzfpu6rK0BzpePJ472MBYOS85x6I=
  3. Set the value of the following line to true:
    isPasswordEncrypted=true
  4. Save the
    userConfig.ilm
    file.
