A protected Informatica MDM Hub resource that is exposed to the Roles tool, allowing the resource to be added to roles with specific privileges. When a user account is assigned to a specific role, then that user account is authorized to access the secure resources using SIF according to the privileges associated with that role. In order for external applications to access a Informatica MDM Hub resource using SIF operations, that resource must be configured as SECURE. Because all Informatica MDM Hub resources are PRIVATE by default, you must explicitly make a resource SECURE after the resource has been added. See also private resource, resource.
